World Pastry Champion
Julien Alvarez has been teaching in Paris, in Bellouet Conseil gastronomic school, known by its perfectionism, for 3 years. Answering the question why Julien left the school, he said: “I feel very comfortable in school and I thought if I don’t move forward, in 10 years I will be at the same place doing the same things”.
In 2011 Julien Alvarez won the Champion of the World title in the most prestigious international contest La Coup du Monde de la Patisserie. There he was a participant from Spain.
His distinctive characteristic is extreme artistry of pastries, amazing combination of colors and tastes, effective decoration.
Today Julien Alvarez is a pastry-chef in The Peninsula international hotel chain in Paris.
